Chad Hunter is the CEO/Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Private Wealth Advisor at QTR Family Wealth. With extensive experience in wealth management since 2006, Chad provides strategic advice to wealth creators and their families, helping them manage their assets with intention and precision. He excels in guiding business owners through the lifecycle of their businesses, from pre-sale planning and optimization to navigating the timing of transfers or sales. Chad’s methodical approach and foresight helps clients anticipate challenges, adjust course, and avoid potential roadblocks during financial transitions.
Having made the transition from a corporate environment at Merrill Lynch to launching his own RIA firm, Chad understands the journey of business ownership intimately. His hands-on experience in building a business from the ground up makes him particularly suited to working with entrepreneurs, as he understands both the opportunities and challenges they face. Chad co-founded QTR Family Wealth with his brother, Wes, and has received national recognition, including Forbes’ Best-in-State Next-Generation Wealth Advisors and America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors.*
He holds a degree in Business and Economics from Lafayette College and several professional designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ (CPFA™), and Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®).
A dedicated community supporter, Chad is involved with the Central Florida Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity. He enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife Rachel, and daughter Mia. In 2020, he summited Mount Kilimanjaro, a highlight of his personal achievements.
